I've been casually looking after pets for friends and family on and off for a while now. they act like they're inconveniencing me but I actually feel like they're doing me a favor giving me the opportunity to care for their cat or dog. I'm starting my masters degree in speech-language pathology at Wayne State in the fall and I'm looking to make some cash over the spring and summer. I figured dog sitting/walking would be a great fit. I'm young, responsible, in shape enough to keep up with high energy dogs, and my previous work experience highlights that I'm responsible as well. I'm as transparent as possible when I communicate with people whom I have a professional relationship with. Even before I knew Rover was a thing I would track any walks I'd go one with run keeper so the pet's owner could tell when, were, and how long the walk was.
