Pet care experience
For over two decades, I have cared for friends and family's fur babies, including overnight care and daily visits. From dogs and cats to hamsters and bunnies, animals have always been a major part of my life. In my 20s, I worked at a bird facility where my responsibilities included feeding, cleaning, and socializing with the birds. I also volunteered for an animal shelter where I was involved with the animals' daily care needs. Over the last few years, I provided long-term care for a senior of chug (chihuhua-pug) when her owner was gone on month-long extended leaves. As a petsitter, my goal for your fur babies is to give them the attention I would give my own by making sure they are healthy and happy while you are away. I believe that in addition to providing supervision and daily care, our animal friends need interaction and stimulation for their minds and bodies. As such, whether I'm staying overnight or walking you dog, your fur baby will get ample play time and socialization based on your preferences.

When I petsit, I will keep your fur babies on their regular schedule to ensure they have as little interruption in their normal activities as possible. It's hard enough on your pets when you leave. So, my priority is to keep them on their daily routine. In addition to feeding your pets, I will clean their dishes daily, groom them, give oral supplements and medications (if needed), and spend hours each day playing and snuggling with them. If you have a closed in dog-friendly yard, we will spend time out there when the weather is nice. If you desire, your pups will go on walks twice a day. If you have cats, their litter boxes will be changed three times per day. If your dogs or cats have specials needs, I'm happy to provide whatever level of care is necessary.

Please let me know how many dogs, as well as your dog's size, breed, and any special needs or unique behaviors. I can administer oral medication to most dogs and am comfortable with topical applications as well.
A typical day
Your dogs and I will explore your neighborhood on our walks, allowing them to take in all the new smells and sights. If there is a park nearby, we will make regular visits so they can stretch their legs. If the area is closed in and your dog enjoys playing fetch, we'll run around and play together. When we are home, if your pooch loves the outdoors as much as I do, we'll play and hang out in the backyard each day, and even do some reading together. For drop-in visits, I will spend at least one hour with your pets. For overnight and extended stays, we'll play throughout the day. At night, we'll snuggle up (if they like to) and enjoy quiet time watching out favorite dog movies or catching up on a good book.

Availability
I have a flexible schedule. I am available for overnight petsitting an extended stays as well as daily check-in visits and dog walking. For dog walking and daily visits, I am available Monday through Sunday 8 a.m - 8 p.m. For overnight and extended stays, I am available 24 hours.
