Pet care experience
I've cared for and trained cats, dogs, and rabbits since the age of 10 at home. I grew up tending animals on my uncle's farm as well (dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens). I 🌈♥️ all size pets, & I specialize in larger breed dogs & long stays. So I offer multiple-pet discounts for stays over 5 days & returning client discounts as well! I bring the same successful teaching style I use in the classroom to my relationship with pets as a "Warm Demander," using empathic observation, encouragement, and trust-building affection, in addition to strong boundaries and reinforced expectations - tailored to each animal's capabilities. I love to provide lots of opportunities for play, exercise, and of course much affection and cuddles!

Tim was amazing with our pups! We have one energetic puppy and one older dog reactive dog and he handled both with the care they needed!! He communicated frequently and never hesitated to bring up any questions! Our girls were happy as could be! Tim left the house clean and couldn’t even tell he had stayed here! I’d recommend him to anyone and hope to book him again sometime!
Timothy took good care of our dog Hunter (and our home) while away for a night. We would use Timothy again!

A typical day
In addition to a walk, your pup/s will be treated to a daily 10-15 minute jog and/or vigorous activity such as fetch (as per their ability).

Availability
I'm currently available for 24 hour care everyday, as I'm working/ studying from home. Drop-in visits and walks are flexible & negotiable, but my best availability is midday after 12pm and evenings after 6pm. Very strict drop-in & walking schedules fall under the category of "special care" and may include an additional fee due to DC area travel factors & for maintaining friendly client relationships.
