For the last 7 years I have been working in the pet care industry. Most of that time was spent at Dogs Dig Walking working as a dog walker and pet sitter. I have also owned and trained dogs for 20+ years. Currently I'm working towards becoming a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and practice positive reinforcement based training. I have been a volunteer Puppy Raiser and Foster for Can Do Canines for 5 years. This has given me the privilege of training 2 Prison puppies and raised 1 puppy to a fully fledged Assistance Dog. I have also volunteered at Animal Humane Society Training School. This allowed me to work with many different personality types and broaden my dog handling abilities. Dogs and pet care are my passion and I relish the time I get to spend with them. My goal is to ensure that all the animals in my care have the best lives I can give them and get plenty of mental stimulation as well as physical exercise.
