Pet care experience
My first two clients here in the last few months are great pets and their owners are kind and appreciative but these are HUGE doggies. I get quite the workout, I'll just say that. It's funny, I feel like the Dog Whisperer, but only for monster-sized canines! Never knew I was a dog person until I met my girl's Mini Aussie Doodle, Rosie. Now I don't know how I ever got along without her. It's nice to finally have a purpose! I walked dogs for the Humane Society for a time, which was challenging certainly, but I met a lot of characters there!

Tim is so great with my boy. Gambit is a large Aussie x Great Pyrenees. Because Gambit is so big and has aggressive tendencies I have had a hard time finding the right person to walk him. Tim was confident things would work and he was right. We have a great system and Tim is very easy going. You can count on him to be there for your furbs when he says he will be. Highly recommended! Thanks Tim!
I would recommend Timber to take care of your pet. He is attentive, caring and responsible. I've seen how he interacts with Rosie and our Golden, Summer. He truly has a soft spot for animals.
Timber looks after my beloved pooch, Rosie, and she absolutely loves him! He takes her for long walks in the park and everyday is a new adventure. Timber is very responsible and ensures that their time together is time well spent with lots of interaction and play time. I am so thrilled that Rosie has a true fried to spend her days with! I do whatever is needed to make sure whatever four-legged friend I'm looking after and trusted is happy and comfortable while paying the proper attention necessary to the dog and not getting distracted, and always following the list of needs drawn out by the pet owner, however they want the leash, if they need brushing and paws wiped off after the walk, treats or no treats, I'm there to do whatever the client needs.

I'm flexible and certainly ready for anything, I trust the owner will let me know of any pertinent information regarding care for their special dogs!
A typical day
Since getting a couple clients with tremendously giant dogs, I've just been taking them on a path, a trail, I spend a lot of time being pulled, and trying to properly wrangle them, it's tough for sure, but it's never boring and I know the owners appreciate it! Taking the dogs out for a ride in the car, the ones that get excited by it and I find they most often really enjoy it, sticking their heads out the window, tongues wagging...sometimes though, that isn't the case, so we don’t do that! Taking them to a school park after hours when the kids aren't around, if it's safe for them to be off-leash, and they aren't the type of dogs that run off, then we'll do that; sometimes the doggies need a really good run! I always make sure I carry treats, liver, or whatever they like, to get them to simmer down when it's time to go...it's all about what our four-legged friends need, often it might just be a good long walk, playing with them attentively and affectionately, connecting...sometimes a frisbee, or a ball certainly, my dog Rosie completely loves chasing and catching the frisbee in the air!

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule, splitting my time between my girl's house in Peterborough and my mom's house in Lindsay, as well as my dog-walking responsibilities in Dunsford and Warsaw, so it seems like I'm always on the move! I'm a writer and a composer, so many of my creative and artistic endeavors can be pursued almost anytime. I always make time for what's important, and to me, getting outside with a four-legged friend is pretty special and I'm grateful and honored for the opportunity to be in their life!
