I’ve had a special bond with dogs, and cats all my life. After my beloved Oliver passed in 2018, I started dogsitting to fill the void and discovered my true calling. As I have renovated, I put in a covered outdoor puppy play area on the porch, to allow your pup the luxury step outside to enjoy the cool air, it's open , but covered with artificial grass and a view of the yard and night sky. Additional safety measures include a fully fenced yard, my fulltime supervision. But fun, and play, safety and structure that I provide to ensure your pups are uncomfortable and relaxed as you would have them at your home I’ve spent a lot of time making sure my place is dog-friendly: securing the fully fenced yard, setting up my living space so I can view it from the window, and installing Ring cameras indoors and out so I can check on my guests during my (very brief) absences. I work from home as a freelance business consultant, with a flexible schedule for exercise, playtime, potty breaks, walks, or belly rubs on the couch. Your dog will enjoy full-service care, in an environment where they can feel safe, contented, and entertained. I’m experienced with a variety of breeds, ages, medical conditions, and training methodologies, and will work with you to make sure your dog’s experience meets their needs, energy level, and personality. If they like jogging or playing fetch, I’m a great match. If they prefer to laze in the shade or air conditioning, they’ll have company. If they’re nervous or need structure, I can provide gentle support and guidance. Most of all, your dog will be loved. I do everything possible to make my guests feel at home, in my home or yours. I ask my clients schedule a brief call/video chat in advance to discuss needs and expectations. For longer stays, I recommend booking a short, in-person visit, which helps instill trust and a feeling of safety once you leave. I provide more than boarding, I love the animals, and will do my best to provide a loving home, enhance any training, exercise and socializing. I am home during the day, and at night. I am familiar with training and nurturing techniques for potty training, providing a safe and happy learning environment so your pets feel safe, and cared for. I can be flexible when your plans change, but overnight, I would like 12 hours notice, especially on weekends. I can offer a lower rate for extended weekend visits.. I have gotten many requests, as thankfully, many people are returning to work, or taking some long needed vactation. I always keep my commitments, and therefore am limited on accepting requests. It is important that we meet, especially if I have another dog, or puppy. Usually only one or two, and not everyday. Please be patient. I love to have a dog around, but cannot full time. If your pet is with me, they will be loved, cared for, and safe. And, I will do my best to make sure you pup has a great time too!! I am available early mornings, daytime, evenings and weekends. I am very active, and if your pet likes exorcise, hiking or visiting the dog park - we are a good match! I have a 2 bedroom house with a private and enclosed front and back yard, and.
