Being raised in the city , love for animals came working on a dairy farm during my teens. I became a member of 4H which taught me a great deal about care and responsibly tending to the needs of cattle. It gave me great insight into the needs and reliance that animals have on human beings for their own survival, comfort and well being. For years, I missed caring for animals due to my chosen vocation but when I was ready again, I became a caregiver for a friends golden when she had to leave town to teach. He is still with me today and gives love like a puppy still even tho he is 13. I have attended seminars by Caesar Milan over the years and became a fan of his approach to the well being of pets.
