My name is Tim. I'm a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida with a BA in Theatre. Growing up, I have cared for several different species of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, and, for a brief period, big cats (tigers, panthers, and lions) through a rescue. These experiences have taught me that. just like people, every animal has a unique personality and must be cared for in a way that is appropriate to that personality. Energetic dog? Play with them, get them up and moving, and make sure they stay hydrated. Lap dog? Make sure they get enough attention and affection, and watch the treats so they don't get chubby. While most of my personal pet experience has been with smaller breeds (my family has owned yorkies, toy poodles, shelties, chihuahuas, and dachshunds), I love large dogs and have no problems caring for them. I get along very well with animals and have had people comment on how quickly I seem to bond with animals that usually seem indifferent or even standoffish towards new people. I am experienced in administering oral medications to animals, so I'm comfortable providing necessary medications supplied by you, as long as I am given detailed instructions on dosage and regularity. I am currently available throughout the week as needed, I am available for walks or playtime throughout the day, transportation to and from veterinary appointments (provided I am supplied with all pertinent information and a travel kennel if your dog is a nervous passenger), and at-home care.
