I grew up with Buddy, my blue heeler/border collie mix. He was a handful, but we worked a lot on his training- including clicker training, not sure if that's still around- and he turned out into a lil gentleman. For the past two years I worked on a ranch north of Steamboat Springs as a wrangler. I was working more regularly with horses, but I do have animal care experience from that. I also did graduate with a BA in psychology, and loved my course on learning and behavior; so I understand how being consistent and structured can be beneficial when training animals. I just moved to Lakewood in November and work at The Maven hotel, part of Dairy Block in LoDo, so I can take jobs either downtown or out on the western side of Denver.
