I am a 56 year old dog lover and owner of 2 rescue dogs. I couldn't imagine not having dogs in my life. The unconditional love and loyalty they give can't be matched by any other animal. My friends often joke that I pay more attention to their pets than I do to them. In my working life I am a program manager for a local agency that assists developmentally disabled adults. I have worked for the same agency for 25 years and am very responsible and dependable. These are two of the most important traits that I would require in anyone that I would entrust my dogs with. Having someone be responsible for your dogs is not unlike leaving your children with a babysitter. You need to feel that level of comfortability, and that is why I like to meet the owners and dogs before signing up for a sitting. I think it is also very important that the dog(s) and myself also feel comfortable with each other so that you can enjoy your time away and your dog(s) will also be as stress free as possible while you are gone.
