Pet care experience
Having lived with, and cared for dogs for much of my life, you can expect that your pet will receive my full attention and devotion during the time that we work together—not just their basic health, safety and food/outdoor needs, but also the affection that keeps them feeling loved. I am also very comfortable maintaining obedience protocols when needed, but also flexible and realistic about dogs' behavior. I have some experience with dogs' health needs. I have helped care for my mother's cocker spaniel, whose serious autoimmune condition has required the administration of daily oral medication, including immune system blockers and steroids. Most recently, I've cared for a four month-old Boston Terrier puppy who when we first met needed medication administered twice daily. Outside my interest in animals, I run a summer program for high school students, and have significant and transferable experience handling emergency situations and working under pressure.

If you want someone who really takes the time to make sure he’s giving your fur baby a home away from home, Tim is your guy! I booked Tim for his dog boarding services from Sept 28 thru Sept 29th as I had a quick overnight gig in PA. Tim is extremely responsible and even took the time to set up a phone call WAY ahead of my travel dates to work out any extra details. It was so nice this past week to just be able to focus on my work and travel logistics and not have the added stress of worrying about Angel. Even though I was only gone one night, I received several photos and updates during her stay with Tim. It was obvious that she not only found a new friend, but I found a reliable and loving new sitter that I will definitely be using in the future.
Daisy stayed with Tim for three nights. He took great care of her and provided us with a lot of updates and photos. It's clear he really loves dogs and Daisy had a great time with him! We appreciated that he was also flexible with drop off and pick up.
Tim was just completely outstanding with our dog. He was enormously helpful, thoughtful and flexible making arrangements with us, for which we were very grateful. And even better, he plainly just loves and enjoys dogs. Of the dozens of caretakers we have used, Tim has felt like the most tuned in and nurturant! We recommend him VERY highly.
Tim was great! He was very communicative about Norbert’s stay and Norb seemed to enjoy his time very much! He went to work with Tim, they took lots of fun walks and played with his toys with him. Would definitely rebook!

During longer stays, I love to spend a few hours on a weekend day, or day off, taking dogs for longer walks to the beach, park, dog run, etc. I have also brought smaller dogs to spend the day with me at my office in Ravenswood, where they get loads of attention from my co-workers (we're a small team of four), and regular walks throughout the day. (For shorter stays, I have the ability to work from home while dog sitting, if/when this is preferred).
