I've lived in Alaska for 30 years , raised two beautiful children with my wonderful husband. I've been blessed with four dogs in the last 30 years, Ivan a husky/Akita mix that lived to over 17 years old, and Duke a Chesapeake bay/ Labrador retriever mix that lived to 10 years old after a year long battle with osteosarcoma. Sulley an ACD that lived to four and most recently Deets a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I also share my home with Sofe a Sassy male cat that keeps dogs on their toes.. My heart leaps with joy at the sight of an old dog tail wagging, wanting nothing more than a walk , a cookie and a fire to lay by, A young dogs exuberance, let's run , throw that ball again, dog food that half on the floor half in their mouth. I find a kinship with dog owners, seems like they and I love laughing over the antics of our pets . I hope you consider me when you need someone to care for the pet you love .
