Special needs dog mama
I am a lifelong animal lover! I currently have 1 cat. I am a special education teacher at a high school during the school year, so have more flexibility during the summer months. I have been dog sitting overnight for 3 families for the past 3 years. I have had 2 dogs, German Shepherds, who have had megaesophagus and had intense special needs. I have had another shepherd mix, Stella, who had lyme disease and severe arthritis. I have worked with numerous breeds of dogs and all ages (volunteer at a local rescue). I would say I am especially great with dogs with special needs. I am used to special diets, giving numerous medications and following through with a long list of needs. I have a husband who can take care of our fur babies needs at home, so I can give the love and attention needed to your fur baby whether it be for a little while each day or overnight stays at your home.

- I don't have any breed preferences. I volunteer with a local dog rescue and have limited experience with puppies with numerous breeds, but I do feel comfortable with all breeds. I have extensive experience with German Shepherds, Weimeraners, Lab Mixes and Bulldogs.
