My animal care experience (aside from a childhood guinea pig named Garret) began with working in several riding therapy stables during college and graduate schools. At these facilities, I worked as a part of a team to care for 20-30 horses, all with different preferences and needs...and horses are fragile! Dogs and cats were always part of the setup, but I wan't able to commit to my own animals until post-graduation. I have 2 ragdoll cats, Moose and Nora, and a dog, Pylsa Fey (husky/corgi mix). Because of food allergies in my animals (and humans!), I am experienced with preventing cross-contamination, preparing and serving raw foods, and consistently and precisely giving the correct medications and/or supplements. I work in Kalamazoo from 12-9 most days, so doggos and their parents who live in Battle Creek, Kazoo, or in between the two are the best fit. I have some Wednesdays off and may have some scheduling flexibility with sufficient notice. We can figure out how to make it work!
