Full time fenced yard

Pet care experience

I grew up on a horse farm. I always had dogs for most of my life . Except when I lived in an apartment for a short time where I could not have one. My sister and I use to have fake dog shows as kids. It was so much fun. Now I have 2 loveable doggies of my own that i adopted . They love our fenced in backyard and my daughter and I walk them every day as a team. When Taylor was a toddler we would go out and visit grandma and aunt / sister and give chino her dog lots of love and walks. Also in the last 5 years my late moms dog rosie who was also adopted. Dogs are great.

I called sitter while I was outside if her house, she told me she would be unable to do it because she was under the weather, didn't get enough sleep and her big dog is pesty and that she would need to leave my dog outside most of the day. When I told her I was going to contact rover for a refund she told me she would watch him for a few hours I told her I had to work 8 hours. Then she proceeded to call me I quickly hung up in her, why would I want her to keep my dog at this point. When I sent her a message telling her not to waste her time she asked if I was texting and driving I'm not really sure what that had to do with anything. She is not reliable.

Did not work out for us. She couldn't handle our dog and backed out after 5 days, so I had to find another sitter on Rover from a distance and arrange for family to make a transfer for the last 3 days. Apparently she has a lot going on in her life and got overwhelmed by my easily excitable dog who likes to chase the pattern of lights and shadow on the wall. It seems it was probably a bad situation for my dog, maybe she didn't get along with her resident dogs and it made her more agitated than usual. We did do a meet and greet beforehand, but it seems that it wasn't enough for either of us to realize it wasn't a good fit. She said at the end she thought my dog needed anti-anxiety medication to calm her down. She didn't seem to realize that maybe my dog was unhappy in her house and that was why she was not calm. I hate to think of my dog being agitated and unhappy for 5 days and I hate to think of the stress it probably caused Tiffany and her family. I'm glad she said something and I was able to get her out of there at least for the last 3 days.

Tiffany did a great job taking care of our beagle Bubba for the weekend! He really enjoyed her dogs and the big backyard for him to run around in. When we got there to pick him up he was happy to see us and was very comfortable in her house. Tiffany was very flexible with us for pick up and drop off times. Also she was great at communicating quickly and sent us a picture of Bubba during his stay. We’ll definitely be having Bubba stay with Tiffany and her pups again when we go out of town.

Tiffany is an outstanding pet owner. She and I have been Friends for about 14 years ... I have sincerely been impressed initially with the numerous family stories she shared with me about the pets she had throughout her childhood on the Farm ... and then I witnessed firsthand as she acquired cats and dogs, and it was obvious how much she cared for their well being and health and fitness and safety. I would not hesitate to let her cat-sit my beloved family cats, Boots, Pippin & Spot!
