I am a teacher by trade and completely love my job. My family has had dogs/cats on our farm my whole life. We have owned primarily Dobermans and Beagles in that time. I get my love of animals from my mother. She taught me compassion and responsibility. In fact the only time I was ever grounded in my life was having my chores taken away because that meant I couldn't be around my horses. I have lived on a very small family farm, we have tended to horses always, sometimes cows and a few pigs here and there. I am comfortable around all types of mammals. Currently I am living with my grandmother saving money to build a house of my own. She isn't a huge fan of dogs, so I'm hoping a little bit of dog sitting will help to fill this small yearning I have for some puppy love. My parents currently have 2 beagles (about to turn 4) and I love them dearly. I visit them often and my baby (Jake) cries when I arrive and meets me at the door with a toy. I love my pups (I refuse to admit they're growing up), and we spend hours cuddling on the couch or playing fetch with Jake's favorite toy, his hedgehog.
