I'm originally from Bellingham, WA but am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Oregon State University. Aside from academics, I enjoy outdoor activities, reading, art and tv. I've been wanting a pet (especially a dog) of my own for years but unfortunately most rental homes don't allow it. If there's one thing people know about me, it's that I’m a frequent visitor to humane societies because I love spending time with animals! I took care of my boyfriend's large, goofy, 3-yr old English Yellow Lab from October '15 - June '16, before he had to move back to California, and over the past 7 years, I've looked out for my friend's dogs here and there. Although slightly different, I was a volunteer at my hometown humane society (Whatcom Humane Society) as a Cat TLC Volunteer for about a year! As far as my availability, each season it will be different, based on my classes. If you'd like to see more specific availability, let me know and I’ll share my detailed calendar with you. For this winter season (Jan-Mar), I am mostly free MWTh’s after 12PM and all day Fri-Sun. I am willing to work with dogs of all sizes but big dogs have a special place in my heart! I will make sure to make the most welcoming and loving environment for your pup if I have the opportunity :) If you're interested in letting me take care of your dog, I'd be super happy and would love to hear from you!
