A little about me first - I've had dogs since I can remember, *MY* first official dog that I picked out for me was when I was 5. :) Dogs have always been in my life since then. I have also been and currently am a volunteer of a Siberian Husky Rescue group since 2005. I have been a foster home and have helped rehabilitate several dogs as well as currently assisting with behavioral and other issues for those homes wishing to ultimately keep their dog. I also work within walking distance so this gives me great flexibility in handling any canine visitors. I live in an AMAZINGLY dog friendly building. The biggest asset we have is our fenced in pool area (6ft fence) that give plenty of running space and a great plus, doggies are allowed to swim at all times!! Per my schedule, I'm pretty flexible but normal routine for my pooch is potty/feed at 7am, potty 5pm and then potty again at 10pm before I go to bed. In terms of exercise I usually run between 1.5 - 2 mi daily with my dog, but the time depends on the season so that it's not too warm out. If running is too much for your pooch that's no issue as we can just spend time by the pool daily and play fetch, chase, etc. as I'm normally down there almost everyday cooking my dinner on the grill. I have a studio apartment where Aspen (my dog) is loose during the day, but in the rare event that either dog does not get along, they can easily be separated by either gating off the kitchen, or Aspen can chill out in the bathroom for the day while the other pooch chills out the in the main room. About this sitter: I work within walking distance of work so though I work a pretty typical 9 - 5 job I can be pretty flexible!
