In high school I was a dedicated volunteer dog walker at St. Francis CARE for three summers and in college I volunteered at the Animal Protective Association of Missouri doing everything from washing poopy towels to assisting clients with adoptions. I currently voluteer at the Barking Lot with their K9ers hiking program. My American Eskimo dog recently passed away at the ripe age of 18(!!!) and it made me wish that someone could have been there to love him in my place for all the times I was away from him. I can guarantee that the kind of care I will provide will be more than just going through the motions. You won't have to worry about neglect or rough handling. I'm a very active person so your dog will get the exercise it needs with me. I grew up with a diabetic cat and a cat with hyperthyroidism so I am comfortable administering shots and medicated creams. I have also fostered homeless kittens who needed to be de-wormed so I have administered pills before (as well as for dogs). I think it's pretty obvious that we all love our pets, otherwise we wouldn't be on this website! I want to give your fur baby the love and attention that you would give them.
