Pet care experience
I am an avid dog lover! I've grown up around dogs, as well as living with 3 at a time, up until recently. My friends and family have trusted me for daily care/weekend care for their dogs (i.e. while they go on vacation). I love dogs and their unconditional love for their family/owners. My communication with dogs can be great. I've been personally involved in obedience training with my own dogs (Red Star Kennel in Hudson, WI). I've learned a lot through these training experiences, especially basic techniques in everyday interaction with dogs. My typical routine for pet care; daily walks, basic obedience/communication, frequent bathroom breaks, regular vet visits are important to me for my own dogs, etc. Pets are like family therefore they need care like family! I am a full-time Real Estate Agent, therefore my schedule can be fairly flexible. Monday - Tuesday, I work from home typically. Wednesday - Friday 8am to 5pm I am in Office, I can do walks and drop-ins after 5:30pm these days (this may change within time to free up flexibility). Weekends (Saturdays - Sundays) I am free as well! I'm an active individual, who is also a morning person. I enjoy keeping busy! You could say I'm like an empty-nester dog mom right now. I having dogs around! I have an American Eskimo/Papillon Mix, I unfortunately can't have him living with me full time right now (he resides at home with my Dad). He has brought so much happiness to my life over the past 9 years. He's the reason for my immense love for our fur friends/family members. My Dad also has a 5 yr old Boxer, Stella and he adopted a 3 year old Pitbull, Sammy aka "Cupcake".

I would like to know how the dog does in terms of interaction around other dogs. I don't have breed preferences, but I would like to be aware of behaviors/temperaments... After living with an adopted Pitbull, whom had some aggression prior to training - I've learned a lot about dogs, such as what human interaction/discipline may be doing good or bad for dogs behaviors. It's very interesting to me, I enjoy learning about it!
A typical day
We can walk the trails of Centennial Lakes! Go to Van Valkenburg Park in Edina or find other nearby dog parks (at owners discretion and/or if dog has applicable permit), anything the dog also enjoys doing, to let out some energy! From a trainer standpoint dogs aren't allowed on furniture, but if the bed, for example, is where a dog likes to sleep I allow it. I'm willing to take more than 1 other dog at the same time!
