The saying “I like dogs more than I like people” may be an understatement 😅 I have had dogs my entire life of every sort, naturally surround myself with fellow dog lovers, and I couldn’t even begin to mention how many friends/family/neighbors I’ve helped out with caring for their fur babies. My roommates and I also used to foster for the Humane Society and have successfully helped 100% of our fosters find forever homes!! Walks, backyard fun, parks/hikes, beach dates, dog parks, puppy bday parties, car rides, snuggles on the couch, belly rubs, feedings, bath time, I’ve done them all!! The love of my life, my sweet retired racing greyhound Prudence passed away a few years ago and my heart was broken. I have plenty of experience with medicines, special diets, and subcutaneous fluids with my sweet girl when she was sick. So older, special needs, etc are welcome. She was my other half, did everything with me, & went with me everywhere. She was so well trained that among so many skills & commands she obeyed, I could take her for walks OFF LEASH! If you know anything about racing greyhounds that is unheard of. I also trained her to keep from chasing after wild turkeys in the yard (again unheard of), she’d wait for her food at every meal till she received her command, she’d wait in the doorway after going outside to have her feet and tushy checked & cleaned with baby wipes before she came back inside. I have no professional animal training or credentials, just consistency & patience :) Meet and greets are required prior to confirming booking to ensure your pet is comfortable and a good fit in my care. Day care hours are 6am-10pm Boarding is charged on a 24hr period. I cannot accept requests for boarding/day care for new clients with less than 48hrs notice.
