We are a family of 2 Adults, 2 small humans (that is what my son calls people), 1 dog, 2 birds, a cat, and a turtle. I work part time from home. My husband and I have huge hearts, and love our animals the same as our children. An average day at our house starts at 5 am when our black lab/golden retriever mix, Lily is ready to get up, and go to the bathroom. Then her and I feed all the rest of the animals, and wake the kids up to get ready for school. After we have all had our breakfast, the kids, Lily, and I load up and head to school to drop the kids off. When Lily and I get home we go for a walk if weather permits. When it is nice out they go to the dog park to play. After lunch time we run around the yard and play fetch. Lily goes pretty much anywhere either I, or Kevin goes, and this would be the same for our guest pups. Lily came to us at 6 weeks old and has trouble being alone, so we are quite familiar with separation anxiety. We treat all animals as if they were our own children.
