Love, enrichment & gentle training!
Pet care experience
I've always liked animals more than humans. I love getting to know each and every one of them as a unique individual; learning their needs and communication style. I started caring for dogs 22 years ago, and currently have a 35lbs, 10 year old, mix breed pup, Summit, who I trained as my medical alert dog. She has taught me so much over the years. Now that she's retired, we love to go to dog parks, state parks, and for walks in the neighborhood, sprinkling in obedience training with love along the way. What it all comes down to is: I love animals and their safety and happiness is the most important thing to me. I will treat your dog with as much love as I have mine, because they're all the best dog ever!
Reviews
My dogs and cat were so happy and well-cared for by Tiffanie. I highly recommend this sitter to anyone.
Tiffanie boarded my 6 month old bundle of energy golden doodle Saga and it was the best experience ever! Saga got to learn from Summit and other doggos and obviously loves and trusts Tiffanie (and husband). I was totally at ease knowing Saga was cared for and loved while I had to be away. HIGHLY recommend Tiffanie ❤️😊
Tiffany gave my puppy the absolute nicest day of doggie daycare. Above and beyond with a walk and swim, chill time and playing with Summit. We appreciate Tiffany’s TLC big time!!
She does great!!

Doggy daycare: I am unable to keep dogs in my current home, other than Summit. This means "doggy daycare" looks a little different with me. I will pick your dog up, and take them on a half day adventure: 4-6 hours of checking out new environments at Otter Lake dog park, as well as long leash walks, and other appropriate parks in the area. Summit gets along great with dogs of all ages, so she will be joining us on these adventures. If your doggo can't handle long stents outside, I may not be the right daycare provider for you. In home stays: I ensure doggos have been exercised before leaving them alone, and follow their lead on amount of play and exercise needed. After exercise and play, I like to mentally stimulate them with basic obedience training, such as sit, stay, lie down, and come, progressing with the dogs capabilities. I've always groomed my own dogs, and am happy to bathe your pooch! I use gentle methods that keep your dog calm and safe. I can safely crate your dog when unattended, if required. When I'm home, dogs go outside a minimum of every 2 hours for potty breaks, more if indicated.

Let me know if your pup doesn't get along well with people or other dogs. I'm very happy to accommodate any special needs a dog may have, including behavior and medical issues.
A typical day
Keeping your dog happy is my number one priority! I love to take dogs for walks in the neighborhood and in new areas to get those senses stimulated. In the mornings, we like to head to Otter Lake dog park for some off leash time in a safe environment. I take this opportunity to work on recall training, by being fun and exciting for your dog, and luring them with treats (that you approve) when they're extra distracted. I also enjoy a good game of tug, or setting up food puzzles to keep your dogs busy mind engaged.

Availability
I am working on building a business and work part 2-3 days a week, for 5-8 hours per day. Thursday's I have the tightest availability, as I have a standing appointment, as well as volunteering at an equine center for disabled people. On days that I work, I get the animals in my care exercise and other appropriate enrichment before my shift. If I'm not working, I aim to get dogs outside every 2-3 hours, play with toys inside, and offer food puzzles to get their minds occupied. I also enjoy doing basic obedience training, or working on other behavior issues as needed.
