Pet care experience
I am a WashU resident, originally from St. Louis and now back after years in Chicago! I have lived with dogs most of my life, including the last 8 years. I love love LOVE spending time with pets and look forward to doing so with your awesome STL animals! Over the years, I have frequently pet sat for friends and family at their homes (both dogs and cats)--this includes staying at their homes for several days or simply dropping in a few times a day, whatever the owner prefers. I have a car that allows me to easily access homes as needed and handle any emergency that may require transportation of a pet. I have experienced a variety of dog walking circumstances, including leash reactivity, puppies, and training. I am also experienced in providing injections and medications to various types of animals and am comfortable doing so for your pet too! I have yet to meet a pet I didn't adore, and I absolutely love any excuse to be outside. This is basically my dream job, and I am so excited to fill my free time hanging out with your pets!

Tiffani was so wonderful with our dog, Kaia, and us! She is very relaxed and sweet and fit perfectly with our needy dog. We felt totally comfortable about Kaia staying with her at our apartment and will happily book again in the future! Tiffani also sent us lots of adorable pictures and updates throughout her sleepover with Kaia.
Tiffani truly went above and beyond when watching Dennis, Peach and Annie. She took my dog on long walks and spent a lot of time showering them with affection & play time. Tiffani has been, easily, the best pet sitter I’ve had, and I hope to work with her again in the future!

The shy and skittish, the reactive walker, the inquisitive pup, the lazy old bear, the escape artist, the snuggle bugs and the independent pets! My strategy in every home is to adapt to your specific pet and their needs. So please fill me in on their personality if you can! But if not, I am confident I will figure them out lickety-split!

Before walking a dog, I like to know their comfort level with other dogs on walks (leash reactivity, need for a comfortable muzzle, etc). I also like to know what kind of harness they use and any training they are currently receiving regarding walks. I love handing out delicious treats for good behavior!
A typical day
With walks, I like to cover as much ground as possible to really tucker the pets out! As a pet owner myself I know how important those energy expenditures can be. I prefer to stay around the neighborhood and will only take pets to parks or to be around other animals by specific request of the pet parent with confirmation as to how the pet has historically done with others. For check-ins I love getting an arm workout playing fetch and have never said no to good pet and cuddle session with a furry friend. Similar to how I describe elsewhere, I think the most important thing is to adapt to the needs of the pet and their family in their own home and neighborhood rather than having a rigid strategy that tailors to me.
