I'LL PAWSITIVELY PAMPER YOUR POOCH

Pet care experience

A well behaved dog doesn't happen by accident. It's all about the relationship you have with your dog and how your dog SEES YOU in that relationship. Without a solid foundation things can get messy. By implementing a few very subtle BUT VERY POWERFUL foundational principles, you can literally transform that relationship AND transform your dog. “I'll believe it if I see it" for dogs translates to "I'll believe it if I smell it." So don't bother yelling at them; it's the energy and scent they pay attention to, not your words.” ― Cesar Millan with Melissa Jo Peltier Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and loved animals. I started pet sitting when I was in elementary school. When our neighbors would go on vacation I would care for their cats and dogs. I have had many beloved pets growing up, including; cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, fish, and bearded dragons. My first horse was a broken down retired race horse that was given to me because the owner had no more use for him. He was infested with worms, completely emaciated and his hip bones were literally ripping through his skin. I expressed to the owner that I was going to turn this horse into a hunter-jumper and the owner laughed while saying "good luck kid, that horse will never amount to anything". I was 13 years old, self taught as a rider and over time a trainer as well. It took 6 months to bring him back to optimal health only to reveal he indeed had "a little bit of an attitude problem" (He was a 3 year old who was gelded late and he was a little studdish). Needless to say, we never made it to the Olympics, but he wound up being a fabulous hunter-jumper. One day I saw the former owner and showed him a picture of me riding "Tiffane's Special Effort" over a fence in a show at City Park in New Orleans. Needless to say the guy couldn't believe I had actually DONE IT. That horse achieved more first place ribbons for his performance as a horse than I achieved as a rider "mission accomplished". Ever since then I have always treasured the mental and emotional bond one can achieve with an animal, even against all odds if both are willing to put in the time and the correct approach is taken. Unfortunately he colicked one night and became cast in his stall. Our beautiful relationship came to a tragic end. I was 17 and he was 7. I'll always miss my first horse. He was a challenge but he was also my dream. In addition to providing dog walking, pet sitting and drop-in services, I also provide positive training with the use of Operant Conditioning. There is no greater reward than the reward of helping a four legged family member become confident, obedient and well rounded so that they can live their BEST LIFE.

Tiffane was very attentive to and focused on my cat. When I returned, the cat was relaxed, happy, and clearly well-cared for. Tiffane sent photos of her playing with my cat every day. My cat even gave her a "kitty kiss" -- which is rare for her!

Tiffane did a wonderful job looking after my shy and anxious cat while I was gone for two weeks. She treated her with tremendous care and attention, and really went the extra mile in making sure that she not only had fresh food & water and a clean litter box but also emptied, scrubbed, and refilled the box so that I came back to it in very good shape! She also took wonderful time to play with my kitty and make sure her social needs were met. Thank you so much, Tiffane!!

Absolutely wonderful! Quick with communication, super calm and patient, and just so so good with my senior dogs who need a lot of extra attention with their medical issues. I highly recommend and will definitely be asking her back!
