Pet care experience
Thank you for considering us to watch your pets while you are away. I am a full time professor at UMBC who specializes in human animal bond. I have been around animals my whole life and work closely with many great animal advocates. During your pet's time with myself and my husband Scott, who works from home, we will treat your pet like our own. This means plenty of backyard time, lots of scritches, and daily walks. We work really hard to make sure your canine companion enjoys their time away from their person Our home currently has 1 corgi and 3 ferrets. We encourage all dog owners to schedule a meet and greet, but this is particularly important when boarding with us. We do use crating when there are no humans home, however we have several large crates here, so you do not need to send your own. We look forward to getting to know you at your meet and greet!

Usually every dog is in sight at all times. I don’t even like leaving them in the yard unsupervised. We keep the house puppy proofed and have plenty of experience with dogs of all behaviors.

For boarding: dogs must be friendly with other dogs. I ask that dogs be crate trained if they are here, as they would be crated if no one is home. We both work from home and it will be minimal if at all. You do not need to send your crate, we have a large and medium here. There are other animals in our house, so please inform us about any known aggression issues around food, toys, or small animals.
A typical day
I enjoy walking our dogs or going to the dog park. We often play fetch and tug at home. There are tons of toys around for chewing and keeping your pup occupied

We are both home a majority of the time and care for your pet in league with our own. Currently we walk twice a day and have time for snacks and lounging.
