Pet care experience
I am a stay at home homeschool mom of two wonderful girls and I'm looking to supplement our home income. I am very experienced with drop in visits and walks. I have experience handling dogs of all sizes, cats, most livestock, and a quite a few exotics. So don't be afraid to ask me to care for other animals besides dogs and cats! I do have a slight allergy to cats and ferrets. So while I can still provide home visits and basic care I will have to limit my exposure time to homes that keep these two types of pets inside. I have owned several pets and even some wildlife throughout my lifetime. From your typical dog or cat to emu, fish, lizards, and more. We have so many pets that I can't even keep count! 2 dogs (a chinese crested and a pembroke corgi), a leopard gecko, 3 mourning geckos, 1 chicken, 1 fish, 3 rats, and a frankly unknown number of invertebrates. Including feigning death beatles, hissing cockroaches, millipedes, springtails, and isopods (rolly pollies). My prices are negotiable so feel free to contact me and let me know what you need! My care is directed by your instruction. Even if it is not something I normally do for my pets I will follow your care instructions to the best of my abilities. Because I want your pets to be as comfortable as possible while in my care. The one caveat to that is I am not comfortable feeding live aside from insects. I also don't have an issue with wearing a face mask if requested. Thank you for your consideration.

Tiea was great, we are so thankful she was available so close to the holiday to take care of our dogs and cat and her rate was very reasonable! Our dogs seemed to take to her right away, and were happy and everything was fine when we got home. She even brought our packages in for us and kept us informed the whole time we were gone. We would book with her again.

Please let me know if the pet has any special needs or medication requirements ahead of time. I should be able to handle most but I am not a Vet or Vet Tech. I would also like to know what type of temperaments the animals have. While their temperament won't really affect weather or not I'll accept the job. It will affect how I initially greet the pet. For example I will not approach a shy pet in the same way I would an energetic friendly pet. I want your pet's first experience with me to go well and would hate to make a shy pet feel pressured or a excited pet to feel ignored. Finally if the pet has any fears or odd reactions to certain things I would like to be aware of them just so that I hopefully don't trigger them on accident.
A typical day
Pets I drop in on will get not only basic feed and water but I will spend some quality social time with them. Playing if they want to play, petting if they want a pet, or simply sitting with them for a moment. Whatever the pet prefers that I am able to provide. My goal is to make them as comfortable as possible while their owner is away. I will also provide owners with the comfort of daily updates and photos if requested.

Availability
As a stay at home mom my schedule is very flexible. I can typically adjust my schedule to fit most pet care needs. Weather once, twice, or three times daily I'll do what I can to make time for your pet. My schedule goes through too much fluctuations to agree to long term care. But if you need someone to come in temporarily while you are away or your regular sitter is unavailable I'm you girl!
