Will never book her again my dog was left alone for over 15 hours. This is the first bad experience I’ve had with a sitter, and I am sharing just so this doesn’t happen to other pet owners. I booked her for house sitting and when she came for the meet and great everything seemed fine. I have a ring camera facing my front door which I let every sitter I use know about before hand. The first night she messaged me to say she god called in to work the night and asked if I was okay with her leaving around 12 to let her dog and and then she said she’d come back at 3 to let her out. My dog was left along from 11-5:30 when I realized I wasn’t supper upset as I get things happen so I just let it go. However when I messaged her later on that day to check on things I never heard back so I checked the cameras only to see she hadn’t been by to check on my dog since 5:30 that morning and it was now 6 that night. I reached out and finally heard from her around 7 she said she had some family stuff come up but was on her way to see her right then. Again I tried to be as under as I could but by 9 pm she still wasn’t there and was responding to my messages or calls. In the end I finally got a hold of her and had her drop off the key a and had a friend take over care. This might have been a one off things for her but since she wasn’t responsive and my dog was alone for over 15 hours I just wanted other owners to be aware.
