Pet care experience
I've been around dogs my whole life, large and small, all different types of personalities, from spunky to lazy. I can fit any of those personalities. If your dog likes to hike, take long walks, walk alongside a bike, kayak, snuggle, your dog will be the happiest dog. My availability varies, but I will still provide excellent care. To me dogs are like children, and for some people their dogs are their children, so it takes the right person to understand and provide the love, care and attention that dogs need from their care taker. I do have my own dog but she will not attend visits or walks. Also, if your pet likes people they are more than welcome to come to work with me :) They will make so many friends!

I would recommend Tiana for anyone who wants worry free dog care, she is a dog owner herself and cares for her pet as if it were a child. She has looked after my golden retriever several times, each time she did a great job. She was patient and understanding of my dogs needs and did more than was expected every time.

I have had a senior dog that required a lot of attention. From ear cleaning for infection, being creative on how to give her her meds. Also had my other pup got an eye infection and had to administer drops. It is helpful when the dog is trustworthy of the person.

I would like to know their temperament towards people of any age, food aggression towards another animal or human. If they are a rescue and if so where they are in their training, how long have you owned the dog. If it's their first time being looked after by someone other then their owner. Are the on any medication if so what are their limitations. Do they have an physical limitations. Do they have any routine for their day or eating. I can go on and on because again dogs are like children they all have their own quirks and personalities and it's important to know what they are.
A typical day
Depending on what your dog's level of being comfortable doing with a stranger, I kayak, hike, bike, take walks all times of the year depending if the weather is safe for the dog, any place pretty much local to where the dog lives. Smells and familiarity of surroundings with a person who is not there owner is to me important.

I am a business owner, hence why I have limited availability. But I don't like to bite off more than I can chew because I would want my clients dog to get the care that I would want my babies to receive.
