Pet care experience
I’m a cool, fun, cat + human mom. Here at my Cat Casa Is our main character: Ozzy. He thinks he runs the roost, but he’s anxious and doesn’t like to be alone. Enter, Rover. He’s great with all cats and dogs, and if personalities don’t gel, he has his own place to veg out and be a cat. I’ve personally owned a myriad of animals throughout this lifetime — and would take home the entire rescue shelter if given the chance. With a 12 year old asking for a new pet every day we figure this is a fun way to ‘temporarily’ solve that problem.
Reviews
Tia rocks and is so accommodating
Tia was great!
Harken (black lab) had a wonderful stay with Tia. Tia sent messages and pictures during his stay. She kept us informed about daily walks and how he was doing. I certainly feel comfortable leaving our dog with Tia.
Tucker had an amazing few days with Tia -- and we were delighted as well! From the very beginning, Tia communicated with us promptly, professionally, and courteously. She was thorough and detailed when describing her location and accommodation, and she had no problem administering some meds that our dog required. We found Tia to be everything we needed in a cheerful, responsible, and professional dog sitter. We would happily leave Tucker with Tia again any time!

Safety, trust & environment
I have OCD. My house is clean, there are no random socks on the floor, there’s no little pieces of anything laying around (thanks Roomba).. No food is left out on counters, or floors. We want to make sure your pet is safe, and comfortable at all times. Which means we will only give your pet the approved foods you provide us — No cheating people food. We will keep your pet clean so as to not make things more difficult for you when they’re returned home.. Ex: If it’s raining, we’ll avoid the park with the puddles, and stick to sidewalks 😊 We also make sure that your pet knows the boundaries of our home, so associating special areas for them so they feel comfortable is important to us. We block off areas of the home that pets are not allowed in if we need to leave the dog for a short period of time (we only leave the home for a max of 2/3 hours if we have guests). Your pet will never be left unattended, outside during any season.

Information Tia M. would like to know about your pet
- Is your pet good with Children ages 12+, and babies under the age of 1? - Does your pet chew, or scratch - Does your pet have any reactive mannerisms? Ex: Cars, Trucks, Sharing with other pets. - What is your pets schedule? Feeding and Bathroom. - Is your pet on a medication and how is it administered, and how often?
A typical day
We will get out for a walk 1-4x through the day. When we wake up, after lunch, again around dinner, and definitely before bed. We like to make 1-2 of those walks a bit longer than the rest to get our exercise— We have a big yard too so the pups can really spread out and have fun! Small puppies learning how to potty will get a customized schedule per their learning style. We may go for a special walk to hit the Gambo Preserve in Windham. Staying with us for a few days? Your pet may meet our family dog: Nacho, who is a Bichon/Shih Tzu mix; He lives with my parents & LOVES meeting new friends— There is not a dog he doesn’t like. Sometimes we visit to use their big fenced in yard to play a game of fetch, and get the zoomies out! If it is bad weather/raining/snowing, we will be reading by the fireplace + enjoying naps + and chewing on our bones.

Availability
I’m a real estate broker, so I have the availability to work from home and on a flexible schedule. When I am working, there isn’t really any place I’m going that a dog can’t come with. We like to do lots of outings, keeps things fun. My partner also has a hybrid position so we are able to be home 95% of the time. The 12 year old is in and out from school and sports and being ‘cool’ with his friends, but home with us most nights. He’s been around plenty of animals and reads them very well. My partner and I have a baby too— We know the limits of pets and babies, so that’s not our biggest concern; **unless your dog is absolutely not to be trusted near a baby— that is information we’d want to know**
