Pet care experience
Hello Seattle Dog Owners (the happiest people around)! My name is Tia and when I am not teaching English as a Second Language classes at our local community colleges, I am usually doing yoga, climbing, or running. I sorely miss my dogs from home - my mom's two miniature dachshunds - and the pups of all sizes I met through house and pet sitting! I cannot have dogs in my current residence, but would love to meet and spend some time with your furry friend! I have a lot of energy and would be great for a dog who needs a vigorous walk or even a run! I also know from experience (especially my mom's 14 year old dachshund) that some pups just want to be out in the world sniffing, exploring, and being talked to at a nice, leisurely pace - this works for me too! I am detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, and attentive to the feelings and emotions of others (canine and human alike). My teaching schedule is often flexible as many of my courses are hybrid, so send me an email to see if I am available. Generally, I am available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11-4 and Fridays all day. I am also available after 3pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. If you need weekend assistance, I can also do Saturdays and Sundays.

Thank you Tia! Skye and you are good energy matches, those short quick runs are super. Thanks for giving her attention and her favorite back scratches while we were gone. Will definitely tell others
Simply put, our dog absolutely adores Tia. Every time she comes to our home, whether to join us for dinner or to take our pup out for walks, our dog goes ballistic with excitement. When Tia decided to join Rover as a dog walker, we instantly knew she'd be a perfect fit. Not only does she love animals, she also understands when it is necessary to uphold boundaries with the dog so they do not develop bad habits. She's especially great with high energy pups, as she will easily outlast the dog on any runs or long walks.
Tia is awesome! We have a large, rambunctious, and very strong 2 year old dog who Tia was able to handle with no problems. We highly recommend her!
Tia is a loving, energetic, responsible, fun person. We first met her when we called her to babysit our kids, but being "babysat" by Tia usually meant some excellent adventure and a whole lot of singing! At our house, it also frequently meant Flint the dog would come along. Tia always took the challenges in stride and great patience. Over the years Tia has become a friend to everyone in our family. I have the utmost respect and admiration for her humanity and the joy she brings to any room. I have complete confidence that Tia would be an excellent dog caretaker and any dog that gets to spend some time with Tia will no doubt come home well exercised and relaxed!
