Pet care experience
While I have 30 years of experience being a dog lover, I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs. I've taken care of dogs in my family since I was a child, had a variety of roommates with dogs where I shared care and responsibility, and also assisted friends and family with dog sitting. I love them all from the tiny and feisty Chiweenie to the gentle and nocturnal Giant Pyrenees! I also have experience with dogs from a variety of backgrounds and consequently with a variety of personalities. My current availability is wide open for drop-in walking, and midday/evenings and weekends for more time-consuming pup care. Because I've always had dogs in my life I know of a lot of fun parks and places to take your dog both in Seattle and on the Eastside where I grew up. I can't wait to meet your pup!

Tia was wonderful with our two dogs. She walked them two times a day, regularly provided updates, and provided excellent care for them. She also provided great support watching the house when I was out of town. I would highly recommend her services for pet care service or house sitting services.

While I do not have any breed preferences, I think it's helpful to know as much as possible about what you think is important about your specific dog. Is your pup a bit skittish, possibly coming from a more complicated background? Is your dog a type of hound and should be kept on leash most of the time (sometimes it's all over once they get on a scent!) Is there a certain type of food ingredient your dog cannot have? I want to be as conscious and respectful as possible to your preferences for your dog!
A typical day
I currently live in a suburban part of West Seattle with safe streets and lots of trails nearby for a dog to enjoy. I would also love to show your dog the Marymoor dogpark, an amazing piece of land for dogs to run off-leash (or on-leash, if needed) and meet other dogs! I always wonder- do the dogs know we're walking them or do they think they've just brought their humans to their favorite park? :)
