Pet care experience
I have a deep appreciation and love for dogs. I have owned dogs and cats my entire life. I started to dog sit when I was in college. We currently have three rescue dogs in our home. I have cared for all types of breeds, sizes, and ages. I have a dog with special needs, she is deaf. I also know how to administer medications orally. We had a Great Dane who needed medical care. We are advocates for canine cardiac disease and we have a community social media page about pets called Paw Prints.

Tia is an amazing pet owner. She has a true gift at becoming fast friends with every animal she meets. She takes tremendous care of her 3 dogs, one being a special needs (deaf) American bulldog mix. She has a true knack for adopting the ones to truly need a loving home. I recommend Tia to any pet owner looking for some help with walking or spending time with your furry friends. You will not be disappointed!

A typical day
I am available for dog walking and drop-in visits. Dogs make every walk an adventure. I am happy to go hiking, swimming, walking, or play fetch. I do have a few mentally stimulating and happiness games for dogs, which I can bring to a visit.

After 20 years of working in healthcare, I am switching my career path to pets! I have a genuine affection for dogs, and they bring great joy to my life. I am looking into becoming first aid certified and am currently studying to achieve my insurance license to sell pet insurance.
