Pet care experience
I have had a love for animals since young and from the age I proved I could care for one I was allowed to have a dog as my first pet! That passion fueled my desire to be an animal scientist. In college for extra money I pet sit and trained students dogs. I currently work for the USDA but am going back to school to be a veterinarian. Dogs are my favorite animal and I love learning and understanding their behavior! I interned at Duke University as a animal behaviorist where I was able to one on one train a lemur to do many behaviors! I’m an active and physically fit female so rough house to fetch is what me and any dog can do. With permission any behavior issues I.e. walking better on a leash I would gladly work on. It sharpens my training skills and will make for a more enjoyable pet for the owner.
