Hi are you looking for someone to accept your dog like family instantly? That's me! I have a degree in animal science from UT, experience as a vet tech, 25 years of pet siting experience and incredible love for dogs. I enjoy hiking and swimming with my own dog and will be more than happy to include this as a service to you as well. I want your dog to be happy and will strive to ensure that your dog receives the highest quality care. Meeting the individualized needs of the animal is important to be, so if you have a special needs animal I am your woman! I am currently available full time, but in the near future it may change to being available early in the morning and evenings, in addition to full time availability of the weekends.

Max had a great stay with Thyra and her dogs. They treated him as one of their own family and stayed in touch with great pictures the entire time. We will definitely be booking with them again!
Thyra has watched my two dogs numerous times. She is great. She has no problem hanging out with them and gives them a great amount of attention. I previously had a great dog who required oral medication for on going medical isssues and he never missed a dose with her. She would comfort him on his bad days and send pictures/ updates on his condition. It was great to know that even when I was not home that Thyra would take care of my furry children like they were her own. She is very optimistic and will be a great choice for your animals. She has so much experience.

I do not have any restrictions of breeds,; but would prefer not to accept very aggressive dogs.I also have experience with larger farm animals and cats.
A typical day
Walking/hiking, watching tv, treats, pets play time with toys and balls, swimming, cuddling, car rides and extra TLC. Did i mention it’s like getting spoiled by grandma?

Availability
I work Monday through Friday from 8-5 pm but i am able to care for them in the mornings before I leave and if you live close enough drop in on my lunch break. I am able to take care of your pets in the evening and hang out with them all night.
