Pet care experience
I got my very first dog 10 years ago and have on/off dog sat since then. At one point watching three dogs plus my own dog for 2 weeks. I’m also very flexible, for 1.5 years I watched two dogs on call for a flight nurse. My boyfriend and I have always loved dogs (animals in general) and aren’t around enough of them. We used to watch dogs when we lived in AK 2.5 years ago and really enjoyed it. We’ve taken care of numerous types (and ages) of dogs, cats, farm birds, and a pig before. We currently have a 2 year old dog and a 9 year old cat who hides and sleeps all day. Being at home as a part time e-student this summer will allow me to care for other dogs. Available for day care, boarding, sitting, walks, or check ins.

Thuy is AWESOME! It gave us such peace of mind knowing that our fur babies, got their daily exercise when we were away. Especially our Puppy, who is not yet trained!!! The morning and evening walk meant less potential accidents on my carpet!! Who doesn't love that!! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and caring dog walker!! Thuy cared for our dog like her own and kept us informed about her daily activities.
Very patient and understanding our our sometimes difficult pups. Communicated well and was very kind to our dogs! We look forward to having them back again very soon!
Will definitely be repeat customers! Our dogs warmed up to her very easily despite one of our dogs usually being very shy and anxious. She took great care of them and sent pictures which we always enjoy getting!

I live in a 1,000 sq ft apartment so lots of space for being in an apartment. This is a very dog friendly home. Your pup would be spoiled by my boyfriend and me, and will have my 2 year old pup to keep company.

Information Thuy N. would like to know about your pet
We are flexible. Although we’d prefer to include our pup on dog walks and house sitting, we understand that not all dogs are dog friendly and not all people will want our dog to tag along. However, it is important that if you need dog boarding, our dogs must play well together.
A typical day
Being from Alaska, we both love a big adventure. Aside from exploring Mt Hood, Columbia River Gorge, and the coast on weekends, we exercise our dog daily. Our go to spots are Happy Valley Dog Park, Mt Tabor, and Mary S Young Park (we are new so trying to discover new and nearby places). Happy Valley Dog Park is small so we typically play rounds of fetch. When the weather is right, we’ll go on runs with our pup.

Availability
I am a part time online student this summer so I have a very flexible schedule everyday all week. I have my own car and take my dog on a walk at least once a day. On weekends I like to take him on a big adventure, on a hike around mount hood or the Columbia River Gorge area, or out to the coast.
