Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Thu and I've started caring for animals since I got my first pet when I was little. I've cared for many kinds of animals such as cats, dogs, chickens, and smaller animals such as hedgehogs, hamsters, gerbils, ferrets, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more! I've also volunteered with an animal rescue taking care of many types of animals as well. I am currently working in a preschool as an assistant teacher looking after 2-5 year olds. We have five dogs at home at the moment, a cat and a Guinea pig! It’s a party haha I love to relax at home and cuddle with the fur babies or frolic and adventure in the warmer months. Would be great to connect with some fur babies who love to adventure so I can take them on hikes and stuff with me!

Thu was very responsive and communicative to make sure Tabi was comfortable with her for her first stay. Tabi can be anxious when she is away from us, but seemed happy to go with Thu. Always reassuring to see when dropping her off!

I’d ask to know some of the basics such as routines and your pets temperament, what they like that sorta stuff. The better I can get to know your pet the better I can accommodate them and spend my time with them!
A typical day
I like to find the best spots around for dogs in Seattle. So I will find parks and really vast spaces for them to really get to run around or explore. I can also take them on hikes near Seattle as well! If it’s a busier week I’ll opt to walk around the neighborhood and/or go to the park. Depending on what your dog/pet loves to do I can work with that! Such as toys, enrichment and different locations (beaches, hikes, parks, etc).

Availability
I am a full time student close to being done with my undergrad this June!! I have class for a few hours Tuesdays and Thursdays but am free the rest of the week. If your animal can be alone on those two days for up to 4-6 hours while I go to class. Besides that I can provide walks in the mornings and evenings and when not in class mid day!
