My wife and I own two Scottish Terriers. Montgomery, who is 7 and Elizabeth who is 9. This is a very independent breed. If you know Scotties, you know there is A LOT of patience and understanding with this breed! They do what they want, when they want. Combine that with a dog that's a little too smart and clever and you have a challenge on your hands at times when they don't feel like going inside or outside or doing what YOU want. One must be patient with this breed to reap the rewards of their friendship. With that in mind, you can be assured that we will extended the same courtesy to your furry children as well.
