Billy the Frenchie loves pals to play with!

Pet care experience

Hi there; we're Mike, Tom and our 3yr old friendly Frenchie called Billy. We've got a beautiful home in the port town of Amlwch up on the north coast of Anglesey that we share with our fur baby. We're both dog crazy. We have both separately owned dogs from a young age and Billy is our first together. We have extensive experience with a variety of breeds, sizes and ages of dogs. Friends & family often ask us to look after their dogs for a day, overnight, or even for a week or two while they're on holiday. From that, we've built a loyal following of dog owners who regularly use us to look after their four legged friends for daycare, short stays or long holidays.

Scout was very happy to go back to his new friends and seems really well looked after. He’s pooped from all the playing with Billy which is nice for him.

Tom and Mike took great care of scout overnight. They were really accommodating about arranging the meet and greet and when we were running behind a little. We have already booked another stay for scout with them

You could not wish for more lovely, professional people to look after your beloved pet that Tom & Mike. Their high standard of care and understanding and clear love for what they do is second to none. My booking with them, to look after my elderly Staffie, Chester was at short notice, however they were still able to meet with myself & Chester before taking on the booking... it was clear from the meet & greet that they had a very high understanding of different pets needs and their love of what they do was outstanding!! They bought their adorable Frenchie, Billy to the meet & greet to see how the dogs got on and I must say, Billy is absolutely adorable and equally as attentive as Tom & Mike! I received daily updates & photographs of Chesters stay and I could not have wished for a better Boarding experience. I would say that Tom & Mike adore what they do and have a genuine passion for caring for other people's pets as if they were their own... I cannot recommend Tom, Mike & Billy highly enough and wouldn't hesitate in having them look after my beloved dog Chester again! They are a true blessing to the dog boarding profession! Thank you guys so much, for all the love and care you gave to my 12 year old, blind doggy, Chester... I am truly grateful and would not hesitate to recommend and have Chester stay in your care again. With our heartfelt appreciation... Sharon & Chester Dog 😊 🐶 🐾 xxx

Billy has the run of the house and great sized gardens for exploring or, on warmer days, a nice sunbathing session. We do like to get out and about regularly; there's no end of stunning walks and beaches available right on our doorstep. Your pooch will be walked regularly whilst with us; we just ask that your dog has a collar and nametag. Unfortunately, without a collar and nametag we cannot walk your dog in any public place. Being a lively Frenchie, Billy loves playing with his fur friends, and so our home is open to other well behaved, friendly and house-trained dogs. He's equally happy to snooze for hours, so if your pup prefers plenty of down-time; that's just fine too! Whether you need someone for a day or a week, we'd love to help. We treat all dogs like our own, and can pretty much pander to even the most demanding pup! No crates or cages (unless your dog prefers the security of his/her own crate); just lots of cuddles, fun and cozy places to snuggle up or snooze.

Information Thomas Q. would like to know about your pet

If your dog has any special needs, behavioural issues, dietary requirements or simply has loveable quirks, please let us know in advance. We do prefer that your dog has the opportunity to meet ours in advance of day care or overnight care; and will insist on this for any bookings of more than 24 hours. Please note we will not accept any booking unless you have proof of vaccination for your pooch and they are up to date with worming and flea/tick treatments; this can be uploaded onto your profile or sent to us with your message. We hope you understand this is to ensure the safety of our own pup, the dogs we look after, and also that we comply with legal requirements for dog sitters and boarders. Naturally, your dog should also be house-trained and must have a collar with a name tag attached if we're to take him or her for walks.

A typical day

There's no such thing as a typical day! Depending upon dog energy levels and, of course, the north Wales weather(!) we can be anywhere. With such stunning scenery and seemingly endless beaches and coastal paths on our dootstep, who'd want to sit inside?! Of course, we do take care of older dogs too, and will tailor all walks to your dog's specific needs. If your dog is allowed treats, please supply these to avoid upset tummies!

Availability

Myself and Mike work different shifts and hours, but at least one of is always home during the day and evening. Work can be flexible for us; so with enough notice we can always help. We can sometimes take on last minute bookings, but we do prefer a bit of notice to ensure that our dogs get on well and we have the time to understand the needs of your own four legged friend. We understand that emergencies do happen though, so feel free to reach out and we'll try to accommodate last minute bookings wherever possible. Our advertised rates for day care are typically for 8 hours, between 8am & 4pm or 9am to 5pm. Overnight rates apply from around 4pm to 9 or 10am the next day, but we can be really flexible.
