I've been walking and house-sitting neighbors' dogs since I was 8 years old. My girlfriend is a busy medical resident, but over our years at Duke, we've taken care of 1 or 2 dogs on multiple occasions. Our friends need to travel for Spring Break, visit family for the holidays, or go to conferences. We get to care for their puppers, but because we don't own our own, we can also travel when we need to. Almost every weekend, we get out in nature and hike with human friends and dog friends. Your pupper can explore local outdoor adventures with us. The building we currently live in is very dog friendly, and many neighbors own dogs. We don't have a fenced yard, but there is even a little fenced-off dog run out back. We like meeting dog people, so give us a shout even if you don't need any services right now.
