I've been taking care of my dog Puppy for over a decade. We take great care of her by making home-made meals, treats and showering her with lots and lots of love...!

When Thiago met my dog, she instantly felt comfortable with him. You can tell he loves animals and has a natural and caring approach. My dog is older (12+ years) and Thiago is patient and ensures she gets her exercise at her pace. He regularly walks her - not only this improved her health but it is such a source of joy for her. At my current job I fly all sorts of wealthy individuals, including their beloved pets, from lizards / geckos, to cats and dogs - big and small as you can see in one of my photos.

It's important to get a feel for your dog and your current dynamic and home setting beforehand. Communication is key, particularly when taking care of someone's beloved pet.
A typical day
A personable get together followed by a stroll in the neighborhood park, rewarding good behavior with treats (if approved by owners beforehand). Improvisation is key after the first meet-up.

Availability
As corporate pilot I normally work 4 to 8 days at a time. But I also enjoy 5 to 8 days at home when I'm off work between trips. I'm making myself available for pet sitting, walking, in those days when I'm off work - especially now that the weather is warming up. I'm that type of person whom dogs and cats (among other animals) open up to instantly. It's really fascinating!
