Experienced, loving dog care at a reasonable cost - one dog at a time. Lifelong dog lover and experienced with many breeds, mostly Jack Russells and small to medium dogs. Besides always having a dog in our family, I've taken care of dogs for friends, family and my neighbors. I'm also very familiar the psychology and behavior of dogs. Always reliable and responsible, when your dog is here he or she will be part of my little family.

Let me know about any special needs your dog may have and what kind of doggie personality he or she has. Please provide a proper fitting collar or harness and leash. Also let me know if you'd like a check in with a photo at some point during the visit. Please bring a "doggie bag" with any favorite toys, treats or food your pup needs.
A typical day
A mostly calm atmosphere with lots of toys and a big yard to run in. Fetch is a key activity indoors and out with a nap in the shade in the warmer months. Needless to say, the day always involves lots of neck scratching and belly rubs. Brushing is free (with your pet's permission) and a bath on request or if doggie rolls in *something* as doggies like to do. Sorry, no manicures.

Availability
I'm retired and can be available 24/7 for your little critter's needs. Vacation, holiday weekends or long days at work, your pet will be loved and well cared for. A few hours, the day, or up to two weeks. I prefer caring for only one dog at a time so your pet will have my full attention. Second dog from the same family is fine and at a discounted rate. After the first visit (and we're all comfortable), when your dog is in my care, I may leave the house for a short period of time if necessary. Boarding is for a 24 hr. time period beginning as early as 8:00am and day care is open from 8:00am until 6:00pm. Earlier or later drop offs and pick ups can be negotiated by request.
