Growing up in a large family is very overwhelming. It was always very nice to be able to go play and walk with our neighbors dogs. When I was around 12 my family got our first dog, Kali. I remember the first day she came home she was too scared to go down to the basement because of what happened to her at her previous owners house. When we rescued her we knew this was going to be an issue, however it was going to be very exciting to work with her and build that trust. I think it’s very important to build trust with new pups and families. Our walks were difficult too, Kali didn’t really want to venture out too far away from our home for fear that she would never return. Just like every dog, Kali was looking for stability and love. I would like to be that person for you and your pets.
