Pet care experience
I believe in firm, loving relationships. I had labs as a kid and young adult. My family will be adopting another dog once we have a larger home. I have been a certified BENCHS dog walker for a few years, specializing in pit bulls and other energetic or difficult dogs. I also have cleaning employment experience. I absolutely LOVE dogs, especially walking them! I am a very active, caring person. I am always learning. And, your home will probably be cleaner than you left it when you return. None of us feels like working after even the most relaxing trip. Also, if you have cats, I can feed and play with them, even clean their litter, as our home has two cats and I occasionally look after friends' cats.

I mostly need to know if you know of any triggers which may lead to your dog biting me, other people, or other dogs. I do not know dog-specific CPR, but I've been certified in human first aid and CPR for over 20 years. I'd be able to adapt the principles. I'm calm in emergencies and alert about preventing them.
A typical day
We'll walk for as much distance as your dog can easily handle. I enjoy going through brush just as much as walking around a neighborhood. It depends on your expectations for your dog. I'm firm, but not overly-forceful with dogs. They shouldn't be choked to learn how to walk, for instance. I'll happily play fetch or tug of war, or just sit together with some gentle petting, when we're not walking.
