I have cared for many different breeds of dogs over the last 30 years. As part of that caring and building my knowledge in working with dogs, I decided to breed my Shitzu's and English Bulldogs. Between the 2 breeds, I raised approx 25 puppies to the age of 8 weeks. My knowledge grew with each puppy. Discovering their personalities was beneficial in finding them the right homes. By the time the puppies were 8 weeks, they were all create trained and about 90% potty trained. I have remained in contact with many of the forever parents and often care for their fur babies while out of town.

Theresa is a wonderful pet sitter who takes excellent care of two of my dogs. Immediately when we first met I got great vibes. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our dogs. When we came home after our weekend away both our dogs were relaxed, happy and cleaner than we left them :)
I’ve taken fur babies to boarding places when going out of town but nothing beats taking them to Theresa. She is affordable and makes sure my babies are being well taken care of. She sends me daily photos and doesn’t get mad when I text or call her constantly checking on my babies. My dogs get happy to see her every time I drop them off before going out of town.

I have a fenced yard with a securely locked gate. My 2 Shitzu's are older and couch potatoes. They are un-nerved by any visitors and are often excited when new friends come to visit or stay for a few days. I treat and love any visiting dog as if it were my own.

Having raised and bred English Bulldogs, I am experienced in administering meds and skin care. I feel it is imperative to learn about a dog’s personalities and habits up front so the best care can be provided.
A typical day
There is a dog park 5 minutes from my house. We will go there to socialize with other dogs and chase a ball or 2. I take my visiting pups on daily walks outside either in the neighborhood or on the trail. If the pup is feeling nervous, I love to cuddle up on the couch with them and give extra attention and comfort.

Availability
I recently left a high stress, long hour, management position to stay home and follow my passion for caring for dogs. I am available 7 days a week for daily care or boarding. Since I have been home, I have been able to help out my neighbors by checking in on their pets, taking them for walks or to the dog park.
