Pet care experience
I will work with your pet to feel at home. They will have full use of the townhouse when I am at home and I have a dog proofed living room when I need to be out. I live on dog friendly Treasure Island so plenty of places to take exercise walks and a small fenced in yard for potty breaks. I have had dogs most of my life and over the last 25 years have had a small group of jack russell terriers (5) - my last jack was Daisy (picture with me) and she was 20yrs old in that picture. I enjoy the many personalities of dogs and really do believe they serve a key role in our humanity. I have also fostered dogs with the rescue Family Dog here in SF.

Theresa P. Did an AMAZING FIVE STAR JOB with our three dogs. She listened very closely and exactly followed our instructions. She sent many photos throughout the day every day of their stay at her place, which is on an island, which our dogs loved! She also has a fenced in back yard. Our three dogs are very good judges of character and our little Emma especially is sensitive to anyone with character flaws. Well, Emma immediately warmed up to Theresa P., which for us was quite amazing. Theresa P. Is a true “ dog whisperer” and if you live in the SF Bay Area or are traveling to the SF Bay Area, I have one solid piece of advice for you: Hire Theresa P.!!!
Theresa is absolutely wonderful! Our family just moved to the Bay Area and we were nervous about having to board our dog with someone new. But Theresa was amazing! She was so caring to Bear’s individual needs and went the extra mile to give him the exercise and attention he needed. She also put this over-protective dog mom’s mind at ease by consistently sending videos and photos during his stay. We plan to be regulars and we know our Bear is in the best hands!
I'm not even sure where to begin, there are so many great things to say. Basically, Theresa rocked it and you'll be hard-pressed to find a better sitter anywhere. She went above and beyond taking care of our two furbabies, including a challenging 17 yr old who requires a bit more care. She took the younger one on walks, gave them tons of time on the patio to nap in the sun and shade, she picked up food for them when they weren't eating their food, she sent tons of photos and videos and even sent us home with a new favorite toy. I honestly wasn't sure if my dogs would want to come home after their little stay at Theresa's on the island.
Theresa was a wonderful host. Throughout my dog's stay with her, I was confident he was in good hands. She sent me timely, cute, and funny updates multiple times a day. She has great intuition about and experience with dogs (for example, she had a really thoughtful approach to introducing my dog to her house and to the other dogs she was watching). She was able to let him off leash every day in a nearby dog park that looked safe, quiet, and beautiful so he got great exercise too.
