Pet care experience
Have provided pet care for families in multiple states while in high school and college. Experience has included house sitting for dogs and cats (including puppies and kittens as well as elderly animals) as well as other creatures like fish, chickens, and reptiles. This care has included walking the pets, feeding various diets, and providing medication. I grew up with dogs in my family and have always loved hiking and being out in nature. I am a graduate student at UWinnipeg and looking to spend some time with pets during my free time as I am unable to have any in my current household. I will provide your pet with some playtime, fun, food, and of course love. I understand how much you care about your pets and I do my best to make sure I am dependable and trustworthy.

Theresa has been a wonderful help to us and our pups. She's been walking our beagle and shihtzu who aren't the easiest to handle. They like to walk around like a little gang and bark and bully other dogs they come across. But she handles them so well and they come back ready to nap. She's also fed our dogs on occasion. She's very trustworthy in our home and followed all of our instructions. The beagle is under a strict diet and will try to steal/beg for more food than she needs but Theresa handles her just fine. Theresa has been a wonderful help to our family! Highly recommend!!

Theresa is the BEST dog (and home) sitter. She stayed with my dog Hudson, a 3 year old hound mix, while my family was away for 1 week. She gave him everything he needed. She watered my plants and left the house cleaner than she found it. I would trust her anytime with the pup. He was well exercised and loved while i was away. What else can you ask for?
Theresa did overnight in home sitting for several nights for our basset hound George. She was very competent and efficient and kept in great communication with us while we were away. She always responded to text inquiries regarding how George (and she) were faring. George is a young and very rambunctious hound and is not for a timid handler. He likes to play rough and can be very bossy. Theresa managed him very well including his bad habits such as counter surfing and bed hogging...I would not be comfortable with a less capable handler staying with George. He is a new rescue to us and Theresa was willing to listen to our directions and came up with new ideas to use with him. Growing up I had a dog that I used to take for walks (and jogs), or throw the tennis ball on the lawn with. I would be happy to walk your dog, play fetch, and give yummy rubs. With my cats, we run around the house, I play with them with an assortment of toys, provide them with catnip, and lots of pets.

I am working full time but I would love to help your pet after work or while you are away. I do work an 8 hour day so am more suited for pets that can spend 8 hours at home without a bathroom break.
