My partner and I have recently fallen in love with having an extra friend around our place by boarding with Rover. Between the two of us your pup will get the attention they may need as they adjust to being in a new environment. I have always taken care of neighbors and friends dogs, cats, even a ferret once since I was a kid. My neighbors also enjoy meeting each new furry friend we've hosted as we hang out by the pool and play board games. I also enjoy bringing your pet to the Domain's dog park to run around and socialize or to explore Austin's parks and trails with them (when appropriate).
Reviews
We were very happy to have Theresa help us again with drop in visits for our cats while out of town! The kitties were in a great mood when I returned - I know loved the extra treats and playtime. Theresa always goes the extra mile to tidy up the litter box area, bring in packages, and even topped off the automatic feeder when it was low.
Theresa went above and beyond caring for our fur babies while we were away. I never felt concerned about their well being thanks to regular and clear updates. She even went the extra mile and took the trash out and cleaned out home lightly so we could return home with peace of mind!
Theresa was wonderful for our anti-social senior kitty. She even stopped by before we went out of town to make sure she had all the info she needed to take the best care of our Sir Cat. We are very grateful she gave him space, but checked in on him to make sure he had what he needed. 10/10 recommend, would use her again.

I have a one-bedroom condo with space for a crate and no pets of my own. I live next to a field and a nice neighborhood for walks. I'm capable to follow instructions for your preference on feeding, walking, and giving medications if needed.

It's important to know what your dog likes and doesn't like. I think it's better to be transparent rather than having a pleasant or not-so-pleasant surprise. Also, any special care that wil need to be provided.
A typical day
I like to go on walks/runs and play around with toys. If your dog is able to go to dog parks or play fetch that is a huge plus for me.

Availability
Pet care fits into my weekly routine since I work part-time during the week as well as close to my home. I am also completely available on the weekend. In addition, my partner works from home when not traveling for work wich helps with dropoff / pickup flexibility and aiding in your pets adjustment period.
