Having grown up around all types of creatures I have A whole new level of admiration for animals. Living five minutes from Cornell campus I have many friends of which work there at the vet school. Playing with horses visiting various farm live stock such as cows pigs chickens goats eat, play virtually just live it becomes second nature and a passion. Growing up we always had a dog. My family liked Rottweilers we had a couple over the years! They were part of the family ! Now that us kids have all grown up however, my parents have a lab! I also very much enjoyed riding horses and someday after I graduate college plan to purchase one of my very own! In summary, I do believe this job is a perfect fit for me mainly because I have been around animals my entire life. My connection with any critter is a sixth sense.
