Pet care experience
I've had about 3 years of experience doing pet sitting professionally, but I've been taking care of pets since childhood. I've mainly done work for neighbors or friends, and I've taken care of dogs big and small as well as cats. I've cared for pets who've had various conditions such as arthritis, cataracts, blindess, and deafness, and have experience administering time-sensitive medicine. Also, although I have not taken the steps to get certified as a trainer, I have helped assist a dog trainer many times and have experience in caring for "rowdy" or hyperactive pets.

Theresa took excellent care of our precious Robbie Cat. Her visits were thorough and she shared photos and feedback on how he was doing. When our return flight was cancelled and we had to extend our stay by an additional day, Theresa was able to accommodate us with two additional visits. We highly recommend Theresa and will not hesitate to call on her for any future cat sitting needs.
Theresa did an excellent job with both of my cats! She was on top off the visits, provided images and updates and was very communicative and gentle with the cats. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter!
Every couple of weeks, I need to travel and Theresa is always there, watching over my pets. She is a responsible and caring individual who clearly loves animals. I highly recommend her for any type of pet care.

I make sure to treat your pets as if they were my own. I save any and all written or spoken instructions from owners to make sure pets are given care they are comfortable with and used to. When doing drop-ins, feeding and playing with pets are included. If requested I can also bathe and administer medicine to pets. When walking dogs, I spend 30-60 minutes with them depending on the pet and owner's requests and can walk them as many times a day as needed (within reason). Also, I can accomodate any personal preferences in regards to putting pets in crates, letting them in the backyard, etc. I'll also send picture updates of your pet after I'm done with every visit. I'm always open to questions and requests!

I think it's important to know a pet's eating schedule and any allergies they may have. Their temperment, energy levels, and preferred style of play are also good to know. Lastly, any medical needs or concerns as well as fears are important to know ahead of time.
A typical day
I love letting the pets choose what to do. If you have a high energy, athletic dog, we might go for a run or explore your neighborhood. If you have a more laid back cat or dog, we might play with toys in the house, or we can just relax. Really, a typical day just means helping the pet be happy and comfortable.

Availability
I'm currently a student, but have plenty of time available throughout the day! My schedule is most open during the morning (8am-10am), afternoon (2pm-5pm) and late night hours (8pm-11pm). But, if your pet needs care midday or during the evenings, I can be flexible and adjust accordingly.
